★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tombolo Parish Church of St Andrew the Apostle. Beautiful Church inside and made even more important by the fact that Pope Saint Pius X (Sarto) began his ministry here as curate. His presence is marked by a side altar (with a statue commemorating the fact that (as Pope) he lowered the age for children to make their First Holy Communion. A rather unknown portrait of him also hangs in another side chapel.
