★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conserva una splendida ultima cena del Moroni, anche se il dipinto è poco valorizzato. Per il resto la Chiesa è abbastanza ordinaria, nulla a che vedere con la contigua San Defendente.
It preserves a splendid Last Supper by Moroni, even if the painting is little valued. For the rest, the Church is quite ordinary, nothing to do with the contiguous San Defendente.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella Chiesa, venne edificata nel 1762 da G.Battista Caniana, architetto Romanese e fu completata nei decenni successivi grazie ai contributi degli architetti Giacomo Quarenghi, Simone Elia e Francesco Caniana.
All'interno sono numerose le opere contenute, dalle scolture ai dipinti.
La chiesa presenta un'unica navata comprendente nove altari e due sagrestie da cui si può accedere dall'attigua chiesa di San Defendente.
Beautiful Church, was built in 1762 by G.Battista Caniana, Romanese architect and was completed in the following decades thanks to the contributions of the architects Giacomo Quarenghi, Simone Elia and Francesco Caniana.
Inside there are numerous works contained, from sculptures to paintings.
The church has a single nave comprising nine altars and two sacristies which can be accessed from the adjacent church of San Defendente.
