★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella cripta di questa chiesa metropolitana si trova la tomba e l"altare dedicato al primo vescovo di Fermo Alessandro Sinigardi morto martire nel terzo secolo. La sua famiglia perduro' per parecchi secoli ben nostro territorio fino al 1689 con la morte dell'ultimo discendente maschio. Detta famiglia fu per lungo tempo proprietaria di vasti appezzamenti di terra , nel territorio di RAPAGNANO, ripartiti tra i vari membri della famiglia. Il catasto del 1637 riporta infatti fa proprietà del primogenito Francesco ed una più piccola al fratello minore Giacomo.. con la morte dell'ultimo discendente ,l abate Francesco,avvenuta nel 1735 fu per volontà testamentaria costituita una Cappelania laicale a beneficio di detto altare.
