Dall'epoca della sua erezione fino all'inaugurazione della nuova chiesa il parroco ha esercitato le sue funzioni in una piccola cappella dedicata all'Assunta, benedetta il 28 gennaio 1951. DescrizioneLa Chiesa di Maria Santissima Annunziata,dalla caratteristica forma circolare, è posta all’incrocio tra via Garibaldi e via Del Sole. L'edificio consta di quattro corpi cilindrici che si distinguono per diametro ed altezze coperti con cupolini appena accennati, opportunamente impermeabilizzati e ricoperti, in corrispondenza degli attacchi con la muratura, da qualche fila di coppi alla romana. Il corpo prospiciente la Piazza rappresenta l'ingresso all'edificio e accompagna i visitatori verso il corpo centrale, più ampio ed alto, che da' spazio all'aula e al presbiterio. Quest'ultimo presenta delle feritoie vetrate verticali nella parte alta che conferiscono particolari giochi di luce all'interno. L’interno della struttura cilindrica è ornato da squisiti dipinti. Dall'aula si accede alla Cappella della Consolazione detta anche del Battesimo, dove è presente il fonte battesimale. Church of the Santissima Annunziata Maria SS. From the time of its erection until the inauguration of the new church, the parish priest exercised his functions in a small chapel dedicated to the Assumption, blessed on 28 January 1951. Description The Church of Maria Santissima Annunziata, with its characteristic circular shape, is located at the intersection of via Garibaldi and via Del Sole. The building consists of four cylindrical bodies that are distinguished by diameter and heights covered with slightly hinted domes, suitably waterproofed and covered, in correspondence of the connections with the masonry, by a few rows of Roman-style tiles. The body facing the square represents the entrance to the building and accompanies visitors towards the larger and higher central body, which gives space to the hall and the presbytery. The latter has vertical glass slits in the upper part that give particular plays of light inside. The interior of the cylindrical structure is adorned with exquisite paintings. From the hall you enter the Consolation Chapel also known as Baptism, where there is the baptismal font.
