Ha origini antichissime e la data di costruzione si può far risalire al 1184. La chiesa costruita in quel tempo venne ingrandita successivamente, con il campanile. Era a croce latina, in stile barocco.
DescrizioneLa nuova chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta è un edificio con strutture in cemento armato, a pianta triangolare. La facciata principale deriva dalla composizione di due trapezi rettangoli che trovano congiunzione nella grande arcata centrale costituita da una vetrata artistica, al di sotto della quale si apre, centralmente, l'ingresso all'aula. L'interno, così come l'esterno è molto semplice e razionale; le pareti sono intonacate a colori chiari; l'aula è pavimentata con mattonelle in pietra grigia. Sul lato sud-ovest, distaccato dal corpo della chiesa, si erge il campanile, a pianta esagonale, rastremato verso l'alto.

It has very ancient origins and the construction date can be traced back to 1184. The church built at that time was later enlarged, with the bell tower. It was a Latin cross, in the Baroque style.
Description The new church of Santa Maria Assunta is a building with reinforced concrete structures, with a triangular plan. The main façade derives from the composition of two rectangular trapezoids which are joined in the large central arch made up of an artistic glass window, below which the entrance to the classroom opens centrally. The inside, as well as the outside, is very simple and rational; the walls are plastered in light colors; the classroom is paved with gray stone tiles. On the south-west side, detached from the body of the church, stands the bell tower, with a hexagonal plan, tapering upwards.
