★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel cuore del centro storico di Laino Borgo (CS), precisamente a Piazza Navarro, la Chiesa di Santo Spirito è il principale luogo di culto cattolico per i lainari. Di origine medievale, fu edificata a metà del 300 prima di essere stata ingrandita e ricostruita totalmente quasi 400 anni dopo in seguito ai danni subiti nei secoli anteriori (terremoti e deluvio). Con le varie trasformazioni e evoluzioni, la chiesa ha perso piano piano le sue caratteristiche architettoniche e stilistiche medievali diventando oramai una chiesa barocca. Se siete di passaggio in zona, vi consiglio assolutamente di visitarla in quanto contiene opere artistiche di grande rilievo.
 In the heart of the historic center of Laino Borgo (CS), precisely in Piazza Navarro, the Church of Santo Spirito is the main place of Catholic worship for the Lainari. Of medieval origin, it was built in the mid-300s before being enlarged and totally rebuilt almost 400 years later following the damage suffered in previous centuries (earthquakes and deluvius). With the various transformations and evolutions, the church has slowly lost its medieval architectural and stylistic characteristics becoming a Baroque church. If you are passing through the area, I absolutely recommend that you visit it as it contains artistic works of great importance.
