La chiesa sorge su un pianoro dominante il mare e la costa sottostante. Il silenzio è così assordante che incute timore, infondendoti una strana sensazione di incosciente voglia di andar via. La chiesetta è chiusa, nonostante sia ben segnalata sulle strade adiacenti. Se I visitatori non sono graditi, basta togliere i cartelli! Recommended visit only if you go in a group, due to the inaccessible area and the risk of encountering free animals. The church stands on a plateau dominating the sea and the coast below. The silence is so deafening that it inspires fear, giving you a strange feeling of unconscious desire to leave. The church is closed, although it is well signposted on the adjacent streets. If visitors are not welcome, just remove the signs!

La Chiesa è stupenda, ma purtroppo non è stato possibile visitare l'interno, poiché chiuso e in evidente stato di abbandono come tutto lo spazio che circonda la chiesa.. nonostante sia previsto il pagamento di un biglietto di €2 per tutti, adulti e bambini. Davvero un peccato ed un dispiacere considerando la bellezza del luogo e l'unicità dello stesso Enchanting place with breathtaking views of Lake Lesina, the sea and the Tremiti islands. The Church is wonderful, but unfortunately it was not possible to visit the interior, as it is closed and in an evident state of neglect like all the space that surrounds the church ... despite the payment of a € 2 ticket for everyone, adults and children. Really a pity and a disappointment considering the beauty of the place and the uniqueness of the same

Enchanting but abandoned place, you pay the entrance of 2 euros but it is not specified anywhere. The church would be closed for the covid problem (???).

Dopo i restauri degli anni ottanta non ci sono stati più interventi e purtroppo la costruzione presenta problemi anche strutturali. Un peccato, perché questa chiesa, poco conosciuta, è un vero tesoro di arte e di storia. The church is a jewel of the Apulian Romanesque style. After the restorations of the eighties there have been no more interventions and unfortunately the construction also presents structural problems. A pity, because this little-known church is a true treasure of art and history.

Non siamo nemmeno riusciti a scendere dall'auto, circondati da cani randagi. It will also be a gem if only you could get there to see it. The site is closed and abandoned between dirt and neglect. It was desolated and no-one to ask for info, nor even a proper entrance. It's a shame as the church is very well kept, but it was quite scary to go and visit by ourselves.
