★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa, dedicata a San Colombano della costa, è stata probabilmente costruita sulle colline dell'entroterra chiavarese dai monaci di Bobbio, che all'epoca controllavano la zona, prima dell'XI secolo e poi ricostruita nel 1653. Si legge sul sito del comune di Cogorno: "[La chiesa] ha la facciata a capanna con portale sormontato da tre finestre. L'interno con una sola navata, ha cinque altari. Di particolare interesse gli stalli del coro, dietro l'altare Maggiore, provenienti dalla chiesa di S. Francesco di Chiavari e databili al secondo decennio dell'Ottocento. Uguale attenzione va rivolta al primo altare a destra, ascrivibile a fine Seicento, dedicato a S. Rocco. Il dipinto raffigura la Madonna, con veste rossa e manto azzurro, il Bambino, S. Alberto eremita e S. Rocco".
Di sicuro, anche per la suggestiva posizione panoramica merita una visita.
The church, dedicated to San Colombano della Costa, was probably built on the hills of the Chiavarese hinterland by the monks of Bobbio, who at the time controlled the area, before the XI century and then rebuilt in 1653. It reads on the site of the municipality of Cogorno: "[The church] has a gabled façade with a portal surmounted by three windows. The interior has a single nave, has five altars. Of particular interest are the choir stalls, behind the high altar, coming from the church of S. Francesco di Chiavari and datable to the second decade of the nineteenth century, the same attention must be paid to the first altar on the right, ascribable to the end of the seventeenth century, dedicated to S. Rocco.The painting depicts the Madonna, with red robe and blue mantle, the Child , S. Alberto eremita and S. Rocco ".
Certainly, also for the suggestive panoramic position it is worth a visit.
