È posta su un belvedere in contrada Longa di Almenno San Bartolomeo, dirimpetto ad un'altra chiesa, dello stesso periodo ma sull'altro versante del vallone, in frazione Ponte Barlino. Purtroppo non c'è parcheggio nelle vicinanze. La chiesa è preceduta da un suggestivo vialetto acciottolato in graduale salita, ed è circondata dal verde. La facciata a capanna è preceduta da un portico in legno sostenuto da due pilastri in muratura. La chiesa ha due ingressi, uno principale e uno laterale (lato strada). L'interno presenta un’unica navata, a pianta rettangolare coperta da volta a botte, e ha due campate. Nella pala d'altare è inserito l'affresco della Madonna con Bambino appartenente all' edicola precedente alla costruzione della chiesa, che fu inglobata nella stessa quando fu eseguito il rifacimento completo (1467). Lungo il fianco sud, lato strada, si osserva la viva roccia rossiccia su cui fu eretto il tempio. Sul retro (parte absidale) vi sono alcuni giochi per bambini e l'area prativa che continua sul lato nord, a strapiombo sul vallone e con bella panoramica sui monti circostanti. A destra della chiesa partono alcuni sentieri naturalistici. This small church of medieval origin is worth a visit. It is located on a belvedere in the Longa district of Almenno San Bartolomeo, opposite another church, from the same period but on the other side of the valley, in the hamlet of Ponte Barlino. Unfortunately there is no parking nearby. The church is preceded by a suggestive cobbled path that gradually rises, and is surrounded by greenery. The gabled façade is preceded by a wooden portico supported by two masonry pillars. The church has two entrances, one main and one side (street side). The interior has a single nave, with a rectangular plan covered by a barrel vault, and has two spans. In the altarpiece there is the fresco of the Madonna with Child belonging to the aedicule prior to the construction of the church, which was incorporated into the same when the complete renovation was carried out (1467). Along the south side, on the road side, you can see the vivid reddish rock on which the temple was erected. On the back (apsidal part) there are some games for children and the grassy area that continues on the north side, overlooking the valley and with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. To the right of the church there are some nature trails.
