★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa onesta chiesa di campagna è stata consacrata nel 1955, ma ha due opere del XVII secolo.
La prima è una pala d’altare che raffigura la crocifissione con la Vergine addolorata, Maria Maddalena, San Giovanni evangelista e Giuseppe D’Arimatea.
La seconda è una tela che raffigura la Beata Vergine col Bambino e ai lati San Carlo, Sant'Isidoro e San Gerolamo.
Questa chiesa è però rinomata per il suo coro, annidato nell'ampio soppalco posto sopra l'ingresso, raggiungibile solo tramite un'angusta scala a chiocciola in ferro. I brani di genere liturgico-melodico cantati ad alta voce sono il vero Leitmotiv di ogni Santa Messa. Un consiglio per i forstieri: attendete, prima di mettervi in fila per prendere l'Eucaristia, perché qui il coro ha la precedenza sull'assemblea.
This honest country church was consecrated in 1955, but has two 17th century works.
The first is an altarpiece depicting the crucifixion with the sorrowful Virgin, Mary Magdalene, St. John the Evangelist and Giuseppe D’Arimatea.
The second is a canvas depicting the Blessed Virgin with Child and on the sides San Carlo, Sant'Isidoro and San Gerolamo.
However, this church is renowned for its choir, nestled in the large mezzanine above the entrance, which can only be reached via a narrow iron spiral staircase. The songs of liturgical-melodic genre sung aloud are the true Leitmotiv of every Holy Mass. A tip for fortstieri: wait, before you line up to take the Eucharist, because here the choir takes precedence over the assembly.

Wanted and supported by the people of the hamlet every Sunday at 9 am the s. Mass. Cared for and well maintained, it is an emotional place for the families who support it and animate Marian devotion in it. Sometimes weddings of the "Martilitt" (inhabitants) of Castellazzo are celebrated.
