Inizialmente l'evento fu ricordato con la costruzione di un capitello e, successivamente, con una piccola cappella. Da allora vennero realizzate diverse modifiche ed ampliamenti fino ad arrivare, nel 1861, al Santuario che possiamo vedere oggi. Parte della chiesa primitiva è oggi inglobata nella sagrestia del Santuario. L'edificio é imponente e caratterizzato fortemente dalla cupola con lanterna e dal grande portico sostenuto da dodici colonne su cui troneggia il timpano. Al suo interno è visibile l'immagine della Madonna intagliata a rilievo e dipinta su legno. This sanctuary, which dates back to the 15th century, stands on the site where, according to tradition, a shepherd miraculously found an image of the Madonna. Initially the event was remembered with the construction of a capital and, subsequently, with a small chapel. Since then various modifications and extensions have been made up to arrive, in 1861, to the Sanctuary that we can see today. Part of the primitive church is now incorporated into the sacristy of the Sanctuary. The building is imposing and strongly characterized by the dome with lantern and by the large portico supported by twelve columns on which stands the tympanum. Inside you can see the image of the Madonna carved in relief and painted on wood.

Il santuario a tre navate è ben tenuto e maestoso con il bel colonnato esterno in mezzo alla campagna. I residenti sono molto attivi per mantenere bella questa chiesa. In the week of September 8, many parishes that had contributed to the construction of this church are invited to the Holy Mass to celebrate the nativity of Mary. The three-nave sanctuary is well maintained and majestic with the beautiful outer colonnade in the middle of the countryside. The residents are very active in keeping this church beautiful.
