Si innalza imponente con una struttura semplice e sobria, divisa da quattro lesene che sembrano sorreggere il timpano. Il portale in pietra, preceduto da una piccola scalinata, è sormontato da una finestra polilobata dalla forma particolare. Mentre in alto a sinistra si trova il campanile.
L'interno
Tra il 1928 e il 1936 le tre navate furono abbellite con eleganti affreschi in stile tardobarocco da Emilio Iuso, apprezzato pittore locale.
Nell'abside ci sono l'altare in marmi policromi (opera di artisti locali del settecento) e due affreschi raffiguranti "L'incontro della Madonna con Santa Elisabetta" e "La presentazione al tempio". Nella navata centrale si possono inoltre ammirare un pulpito ligneo e la statua dell'Immacolata (attribuita al frate cappuccino Antonio Collici, 1718). Mentre in quelle laterali, oltre alla statua del Crocifisso, ci sono le tele "L'Assunta in gloria con gli Angioletti" e "L'Annunciazione" (attribuiti a Luca Giordano e Francesco Solimena, sei-settecento).
 The outside
It rises imposing with a simple and sober structure, divided by four pilasters that seem to support the tympanum. The stone portal, preceded by a small staircase, is surmounted by a specially shaped poly-lobed window. While the bell tower is on the top left.
The interior
Between 1928 and 1936 the three naves were embellished with elegant late-Baroque frescoes by Emilio Iuso, an appreciated local painter.
In the apse there are the altar in polychrome marble (by local artists of the eighteenth century) and two frescoes depicting "The meeting of the Madonna with Saint Elizabeth" and "The presentation to the temple". In the central nave you can also admire a wooden pulpit and the statue of the Immaculate Conception (attributed to the Capuchin friar Antonio Collici, 1718). While in the lateral ones, in addition to the statue of the Crucifix, there are the paintings "The Assumption in glory with the Angioletti" and "The Annunciation" (attributed to Luca Giordano and Francesco Solimena, six-eighteenth century).
