Assunta o Cattedrale: gli studiosi asseriscono che essa prima era un tempio pagano, in quanto nei capitelli delle colonne, che sostenevano l’alta fabbrica, si vedevano delle figure profane. La chiesa fu ristrutturata più volte nel corso dei secoli e si può presumere che le prime trasformazioni risalgano al X secolo quando Caiazzo divenne Diocesi e al periodo della dominazione normanna.
Church of Maria SS. Assunta or Cathedral: scholars assert that it was previously a pagan temple, as profane figures were seen in the capitals of the columns, which supported the high building. The church was renovated several times over the centuries and it can be assumed that the first transformations date back to the 10th century when Caiazzo became a diocese and to the period of Norman domination.
