★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa del Santissimo Redentore, o duomo di Palmanova, costruita all'inizio del 1600, è situata sulla piazza Grande, è dedicata sia al santissimo Redentore che ai santi Marco e Giustina, ed è il principale luogo di culto di Palmanova, in provincia di Udine. Ha una bella facciata in pietra bianca e grigia e l'interno a navata unica. Visitandola si possono ammirare molte belle opere d'arte a cominciare dal grande reliquiario ligneo del 1985 e i quattro reliquari a fanale del XVII secolo, il battesimale in pietra del 1614, l'altare delle Milizie e tante altre opere.
The church of the Santissimo Redentore, or Cathedral of Palmanova, built in the early 1600s, is located on the Piazza Grande, is dedicated both to the Most Holy Redeemer and to Saints Marco and Giustina, and is the main place of worship in Palmanova, in the province of Udine. It has a beautiful white and gray stone facade and a single nave interior. Visiting it you can admire many beautiful works of art starting with the large wooden reliquary of 1985 and the four lantern reliquaries of the seventeenth century, the stone baptismal of 1614, the altar of the Militia and many other works.
