Beautiful Romanesque church still undergoing restoration and therefore closed. Too bad there are no indicator panels that give news on its history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È da cercare perché mancano indicazioni stradali. La località è una frazione di Brembate Sotto (BG) e la chiesa è situata in campagna, nascosta da altri edifici. Non vi è parcheggio per eventuali visitatori (sul retro si trova quasi sempre occupato, probabilmente dai residenti). Una volta trovata, è sempre chiusa! È però un gioiellino romanico, che rivela ancora la cura con cui fu costruito. Interessanti le due faccine sugli stipiti del portale e gli zoomorfi tra una palmetta, nella lunetta. Particolare il massiccio tiburio quadrangolare e bella l'abside semicircolare originale a est. Sul lato meridionale, che non è accessibile per lavori (eterni?) ma documentabile dalla rete, si osservano ampi rimaneggiamenti (tuttavia è il lato più interessante, per chi scrive). Sempre a sud si trovano resti di altri corpi di fabbrica, di cui non è riportata l'identità, non essendovi pannelli informativi.
It is to be looked for because there are no road signs. The locality is a fraction of Brembate Sotto (BG) and the church is located in the countryside, hidden by other buildings. There is no parking for any visitors (at the back it is almost always occupied, probably by residents). Once found, it is always closed! However, it is a Romanesque gem, which still reveals the care with which it was built. The two little faces on the portal jambs and the zoomorphs between a palmette in the lunette are interesting. Particularly the massive quadrangular lantern and the beautiful original semicircular apse to the east. On the southern side, which is not accessible for (eternal?) Works but can be documented by the network, extensive alterations are observed (however it is the most interesting side, for the writer). Also to the south are the remains of other buildings, whose identity is not reported, as there are no information panels.
