La prima chiesetta è documentata nel 1330; fu riedificata nel 1630 e ampliata con la costruzione di due navatine laterali nel 1898, e venne consacrata definitivamente il 9 settembre 1899. Chiesa e campanile sono restaurati recentemente.
Al suo interno si apprezzano varie opere tra cui la statua di S. Lucia che dall’Ottocento fino a non molti anni fa era considerata la compatrona di questa chiesa.
Molti arredi lignei della chiesa (lampadari, ambone, paliotto) sono opera dello scultore locale Bruno Lunz.
Il campanile ha finestroni gotici e bugne in porfido rosso agli angoli che risaltano dall’intonaco bianco.
Posto incantato... come molti di questo versante.
 Church of Castagnè S. Vito
The first church is documented in 1330; it was rebuilt in 1630 and enlarged with the construction of two side aisles in 1898, and was definitively consecrated on 9 September 1899. Church and bell tower are recently restored.
Inside you can appreciate various works including the statue of S. Lucia which from the nineteenth century until not many years ago was considered the co-patron of this church.
Many wooden furnishings of the church (chandeliers, ambo, frontal) are the work of the local sculptor Bruno Lunz.
The bell tower has Gothic windows and red porphyry bosses at the corners that stand out from the white plaster.
Enchanted place ... like many of this side.
