★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le stelle sono in fiducia in quanto quando ci sono andato io (maggio 2018) la chiesa era chiusa per restauro, almeno cosi sembrava. C'erano transenne che impedivano l'ingresso.
The stars are in confidence because when I went there (May 2018) the church was closed for restoration, at least so it seemed. There were barriers that prevented entry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nell'abitato di Cison risalta la neoclassica parrocchiale di Santa Maria Assunta, continuatrice di una delle pievi più antiche del territorio: la chiesa ha la particolarità di presentare due facciate, una delle quali rivolta alla Loggia comunale, con evidente significato allegorico; all'interno si trovano dipinti e sculture di maestri del Settecento veneto, tra i quali: una pala, Transito di San Giuseppe, attribuita a Francesco Fontebasso, tra i più valenti interpreti del Rococò; e il Mausoleo marmoreo di Guido Brandolini, scolpito da Pietro Baratta.

In the inhabited area of Cison stands out the neoclassical parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, continuator of one of the oldest parishes in the area: the church has the particularity of presenting two facades, one of which faces the municipal lodge, with evident allegorical meaning; inside there are paintings and sculptures of Venetian masters of the eighteenth century, among which: an altarpiece, Transito di San Giuseppe, attributed to Francesco Fontebasso, among the most talented interpreters of the Rococo; and the marble Mausoleum of Guido Brandolini, sculpted by Pietro Baratta.
