Io vi ero stato con la famiglia durante una fine estate e l'ambiente e tutto il contesto erano piacevoli per le condizioni climatiche, il via-vai dei bagnanti e la gioiosa confusione dell'estate che se ne andava. Oggi sono tornato in pieno inverno e, malgrado il ristorante fosse pieno, ho trovato un ambiente ancora più piacevole, con una vetrata che lasciava vedere un mare e un sole spettacolare, oltre che una miriade di gabbiani disposti a lasciarsi fotografare. Ora spendo due parole sulla "invenzione" che questi due simpatici proprietari hanno fatto; cioè il prezzo fisso per un pasto a menù bloccato con pesce freschissimo, antipasti vari, un primo di ravioli spettacolari e un arrosto degno di tante stelle. Il menù varia ogni settimana e si può consultare su Facebook. Si potrebbe incappare in qualcosa di straordinario e è consigliabile se non quasi obbligatoria la prenotazione, per non rischiare di mangiare un panino a casa. Ho trascorso un 50/mo anniversario di matrimonio con la mia famiglia, veramente ricordativo. Grazie! Small, nice and tidy restaurant by the sea. I had been there with my family during a late summer and the environment and the whole context were pleasant for the climatic conditions, the comings and goings of the swimmers and the joyful confusion of the passing summer. Today I returned in the middle of winter and, despite the restaurant being full, I found an even more pleasant environment, with a window that let you see a spectacular sea and sun, as well as a myriad of seagulls willing to let themselves be photographed. Now I spend a few words on the "invention" that these two nice owners have made; that is the fixed price for a fixed menu meal with fresh fish, various appetizers, a first course of spectacular ravioli and a roast worthy of many stars. The menu changes every week and can be consulted on Facebook. You could run into something extraordinary and it is advisable, if not almost mandatory, to book, so as not to risk eating a sandwich at home. I spent a 50th wedding anniversary with my family, which was truly memorable. Thank you!

Nel caso specifico vissuto nella versione indoor a causa del maltempo. All'ingresso verifica minuziosa del possesso del green pass. Menù semplice, lineare, senza pretese. Senza picchi nè default clamorosi. Una serie di antipasti introducono un primo (ravioli ripieni di pesce con un, giustamente poco invasivo, pomodorino) e due secondi (uno spiedino con patate al forno e una fritturina di pesce). Chiusura con un caffè del marinaio equilibrato (non troppo strong). Nel costo del menù sono compresi acqua e vino (a volontà). Vino della casa decente. Posto ideale per una serata leggera, anzi leggerissima, tra amici che non siano gourmand. Dandogli il giusto contesto può diventare una scelta azzeccata. T	Two Sheds on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place. Drive to Grottamare. At the beach. Chalet Viareggio. Got the last available chairs and umbrella for 10 euros. A bargain! The sea water was very good. Warm and lovely! So calm here in the water and on the sand. Mostly young mums with kids, some families and retired people too. Happy middle class people. A very nice beach and resort. Had a couple of swims and a long lie on the beach chair. Ate at the beach club, Chalet Viareggio, the red coloured chairs and umbrellas. Terrific meal for 15 euros. White crusty bread. Anchovies in oil. Mussels in white wine and garlic with pepper. Home made ravioli with seafood filling. Limone gelato. Cafe lungo. Half a litre of wine and sparkling water. Outstanding value. Lovely lady serving here. Nice man too. Pleasant, happy and very hard working. Highly recommended.
