★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended. Marco Cerrato is a third generation master trouser maker, whose family workshop is located in the lively Spanish quarter of Naples. I had a pair of trousers and a pair of shorts made here. The care given to accommodating the idiosyncracies my anatomy was superb, and resulted in two perfect fitting trousers. One notable example of this was the rise of the trousers, which sit just above my hip-bones, ensuring that the trousers always stay put. The quality of handwork and finishing, e.g. some of the hidden buttons used to fasten the trousers, also adds to the joy of using Marco’s trousers.
One to two fittings and approximately 1 week are required for first time customers, and subsequent orders can be completed with 1 fitting or even without a fitting.
Marco is a really nice guy, and offered superb advice on fabric selection and fit. Grazie!
