Tra noi si è creata subito un'atmosfera di armonia e sintonia. Con entusiasmo ognuno ha preso posto. Qualcuno ha proseguito nel proprio lavoro la tecnica imparata nel lavorare l'argilla dandogli la forma voluta. Chi invece manipolandola ha realizzato un colombino decorando con fantasia la propria opera. Sul mio pezzo " un vassoio " dove avevo impresso un merletto aiutandomi con un mattarello si è stampato il disegno, una tecnica sorprendente. Il pezzo è stato poi messo in cottura modificandosi nel cosidetto biscotto, la cosa ha catturato subito la mia fantasia tanto che oggi ho terminato il lavoro dipingendo le parti in rilievo del disegno dandogli un certo risalto. L'atmosfera meravigliosa creatasi nel laboratorio anche per la musica di sottofondo, ha determinato tra noi calma, serenità e sintonia raccontandoci qualche aneddoto su fatti e eventi curiosi della nostra vita. Today in the ceramic therapy laboratory Manuela our teacher surprised us by welcoming us with a particular music, very relaxing. An atmosphere of harmony was immediately created between us and tuning. With enthusiasm everyone took their seats. Someone has continued in their work the technique learned in working clay giving it the desired shape. On the other hand, those who manipulated it created a colombino by decorating their work with imagination. On my piece "a tray" where I had imprinted a lace with the help of a rolling pin the design was printed, a surprising technique. The piece was then cooked and changed into the so-called biscuit, which immediately captured my imagination so that today I finished the job by painting the relief parts of the drawing giving it a certain emphasis. The wonderful atmosphere created in the laboratory also for the background music, has determined between us calm, serenity and harmony by telling us some anecdotes about curious facts and events of our life.

L'ambiente è molto familiare e intimo, Manuela l'insegnante è una persona davvero eccezionale, con molta pazienza e dedizione ti segue, ti consiglia, ti trasmette la passione pura che trasforma del materiale insignificante in vere e proprie opere d'arte. Terapia perché? Perché mentre lavori ascolti quello che hai dentro, tiri fuori emozioni che attraverso le mani si riversano sul lavoro che stai facendo, terapia perché in quelle ore che sei là nn pensi a niente, ci sei solo tu e la tua "creatura", ed è semplicemente fantastico. Si sta rivelando un'esperienza preziosa sia dal punto di vista dell'acquisizione delle tecniche che per la possibilità di esprimere la mia creatività. L'atmosfera è accogliente e rilassata, un oasi per ritrovare un po' di serenità in una vita troppo frenetica. Da subito sono riuscita a produrre dei piccoli, per me preziosi, manufatti: vasetti di ceramica dipinta che fanno ora bella mostra di sé tra la mia collezione di piantine grasse. Ho già in mente alcune idee per i miei regalini di Natale... Quella del laboratorio di Ceramica della Maestra Manuela Lupino è una realtà culturale piccola ma di straordinario valore nella purtroppo desolata periferia nord ovest di Roma.
