Tant’è che questo anno ho convinto moglie + 2 amici ad iscriversi. Ma da settembre le cose sono inspiegabilmente cambiate. Il target prioritario sono diventati i ragazzi e chi vuol intraprendere la musica nelle sue varie sfaccettature, ma a livello più “serio” o professionale. O almeno questo afferma il responsabile. Tuttavia questo non è il mio caso, essendomi riavvicinato alla musica in età della pensione, e solo per “imparare divertendomi”, ciò che non ho potuto apprendere prima. Probabilmente la scuola non è adatta alle persone con i miei obiettivi, diciamo “basici”, ovvero lezioni “one to one” e successivi Laboratori, per applicare la teoria, suonando con un gruppo di persone con cui si condividono livelli di preparazione e preferenze musicali. Comunque ho abbandonata il Centro Ottava, anche se a malincuore, visto l’eccellente livello professionale dei miei docenti, l’efficiente organizzazione logistica di Chiara, ma l’assoluta incompatibilità con il progetto didattico intrapreso. Mi sarei aspettato una puntuale aderenza della didattica, alla tipologia del bacino di clientela, e non a discutibili “principi formativi”, decisi incomprensibilmente a fattor comune per la discenza. In sintesi: se non ti piace il Contemporary Blues, unico genere previsto in tutti i Lab, ti paghi altri Lab “ad hoc”, nel caso volessi suonare Led Zeppelin oppure Oretta Berti… what to say ... I attended it for a while and, until the other year, it proved to be an efficient and effective organization. So much so that this year I convinced his wife + 2 friends to join. But things have inexplicably changed since September. The priority target has become the boys and those who want to undertake music in its various facets, but on a more "serious" or professional level. Or at least that's what the manager says. However this is not the case with me, having re-approached music in retirement age, and only to "learn while having fun", which I have not been able to learn before. Probably the school is not suitable for people with my goals, let's say "basic", or "one to one" lessons and subsequent workshops, to apply the theory, playing with a group of people with whom you share levels of preparation and musical preferences . However, I left the Centro Ottava, albeit reluctantly, given the excellent professional level of my teachers, Chiara's efficient logistical organization, but the absolute incompatibility with the didactic project undertaken. I would have expected a punctual adherence to teaching, to the typology of the customer base, and not to questionable "training principles", incomprehensibly decided to have a common factor for the learners. In summary: if you don't like Contemporary Blues, the only genre available in all Labs, you will pay for other "ad hoc" Labs, in case you want to play Led Zeppelin or Oretta Berti ...
