Costruita nel 1902 su progetto dell'Ing. Ugo Granzotto di Sacile, fu data in concessione al Cotonificio Veneziano di Pordenone, in cambio della fornitura di energia elettrica per Villa Saccomani. Ripristinata dai danni della 1° Guerra Mondiale, a partire dagli anni '50 fu collegata alla centrale di Fiume Veneto (sempre del Cotonificio), ma non venne rinnovata nel macchinario. Iniziò quindi un lungo declino, anche dovuto alla crisi del settore tessile in generale, che culminò nell’alluvione del 1966 e decretò la chiusura della centrale. Rimasta per oltre 30 anni, in stato di abbandono e smantellata dai macchinari (turbine e alternatore) nel 2000, l’edificio della centrale fu acquistato dalla ditta Claber di Fiume Veneto, assieme alla concessione per lo sfruttamento del salto d’acqua che, completamente ristrutturata, con 2 elettroturbine Kaplan della ditta svedese Flygt, (una a pale fisse, e una pale regolabili) produce una media annua di 200 kWh.

Built in 1902 on a project by Eng. Ugo Granzotto di Sacile, was given in concession to the Venetian Cotton Mill of Pordenone, in exchange for the supply of electricity for Villa Saccomani. Restored from the damage of the 1st World War, starting from the 1950s it was connected to the Fiume Veneto power plant (also belonging to the Cotonificio), but the machinery was not renewed. A long decline then began, also due to the crisis in the textile sector in general, which culminated in the flood of 1966 and decreed the closure of the plant. Remained for over 30 years, in a state of neglect and dismantled by machinery (turbines and alternator) in 2000, the power plant building was purchased by the Claber company in Fiume Veneto, together with the concession for the exploitation of the water jump which, completely refurbished, with 2 Kaplan electroturbines from the Swedish company Flygt, (one with fixed blades and one with adjustable blades), it produces an annual average of 200 kWh.
