Sorge a circa 500 metri di distanza dalla Centrale idroelettrica "Carlo Esterle". Costruita nel 1895, iniziò la sua attività produttiva tre anni dopo. È attualmente una tra le più antiche centrali idroelettriche d'Europa ancora in funzione. È dedicata alla memoria di Angelo Bertini. Another magnificent example of hydraulic engineering located along the Adda river, in Porto d'Adda. It is located about 500 meters away from the "Carlo Esterle" hydroelectric power station. Built in 1895, it began its production activity three years later. It is currently one of the oldest hydroelectric plants in Europe still in operation. It is dedicated to the memory of Angelo Bertini.
S	Samuele Berlusconi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho avuto il piacere di visitare questa centrale con un amico che faceva da guida proprio lì e devo dire che ciò che mi ha spiegato mi ha lasciato veramente impressionato: questa centrale è stata costruita verso la fine del 1800 (e in soli 3 anni) trasportando i pezzi lungo il fiume e montandoli tutti a mano ( e si parla di intere turbine in metallo). Inoltre la tecnologia utilizzata (ricordo che siamo alla fine del 1800) è sorprendentemente moderna per l'epoca. Dopo il centenario (1998) la centrale è stata ristrutturata aggiungendo una nuova ala e aggiornando le turbine esistenti: rimangono 2 turbine originali, di cui una sezionata, e 4 turbine moderne, capaci di fornire 12 MegaWatt ai paesi circostanti. Assolutamente da vedere anche la centrale "sorella", la centrale Esterle, non molto distante dalla centrale Bertini. I had the pleasure of visiting this plant with a friend who was a guide right there and I must say that what he explained to me left me really impressed: this plant was built in the late 1800s (and in just 3 years) carrying the pieces along the river and assembling them all by hand (and we are talking about entire metal turbines). In addition, the technology used (remember that we are in the late 1800s) is surprisingly modern for the time. After the centenary (1998) the plant was renovated by adding a new wing and updating the existing turbines: there are 2 original turbines, one of which is sectioned, and 4 modern turbines, capable of supplying 12 MegaWatts to the surrounding countries. Absolutely to see also the "sister" plant, the Esterle plant, not far from the Bertini plant.

w	walter zanca on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima esperienza in questo meraviglioso luogo mantenuto molto bene. Ingresso 5€ per circa 45 minuti di vista guidata. Consigliabile chiamare e prenotare soprattutto nel weekend. La centrale, di fine 1800 è un simbolo storico da non perdere in quanto la prima al mondo a produrre energia tramite L uso dell’acqua. Ottima la guida che ci ha illustrato la storia e i meccanismi all’esterno ed interno dell’edificio. All’interno resterete meravigliati per la maestosità dei macchinari ma anche per la bellezza dei muri concepiti come se si fosse in una chiesa o museo. Dal famoso ponte San Michele potere fare una bellissima escursione a piedi o bici nel verde e accanto al fiume Adda. In circa 30 mi tuo arriverete alla centrale. Difficoltoso trovare parcheggio ma abbiamo trovato e gratis nel parcheggio poco dopo il ponte nei pressi del bar Possibile anche raggiungere il sito in treno con fermata poco lontana dal ponte San Michele e poi continuare a piedi Durante il tragitto per la Centrale allora di pranzo potete trovare a metà strada dove poter mangiare seduti fuori all’aperto ma accertatevi che siamo aperti in settimana. Le visite alla centrale sono gestite dalla pro loco e vi accoglieranno gentilmente. Beautiful experience in this wonderful place very well maintained. Inside you will be amazed by the majesty of the machinery but also by the beauty of the walls designed as if you were in a church or museum. From the famous San Michele bridge you can take a beautiful excursion on foot or by bike in the green and next to the Adda river. In about 30 mi your you will arrive at the central.
