All'interno vi sono edicole e sepolcri monumentali (Paganini, Gen. Dalla Chiesa, Padre Lino Maupas ecc). Molto suggestivo il cimitero ebraico. Sezioni monumentali maestose con tantissime testimonianze sia all'aperto che sotto i portici, moltissimo verde e aree tenute benissimo. Merita più visite senz'altro vista la sua importanza fondamentale storica e culturale, essendo anche il maggior cimitero dell'intera provincia di Parma.
