Più austera e vagamente inquietante la vicina "Cava Abitata", che è invece teatro di serbatoi arrugginiti e marmitte sagomate in forma di mascheroni. Isolate nel verde, si raggiungono con breve passeggiata e regalano un momento di contemplazione. Meriterebbero maggiore valorizzazione. Ci sono 2 cave, una colorata e l'altra con delle installazioni sulla roccia. Poi il sentiero continua, ma è necessario avere scarpe adatte perché è di sassi e in discesa. Da quel momento non sono state più curate. La prima cava quella dipinta è ancora molto bella da vedere. La seconda purtroppo sente il peso degli anni. La terza si può dire che non esiste più. Peccato perché sono ancora visitate da molta gente e ci fanno anche servizi fotografici.
