V	Vincenzo Caruso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto fantastico nell'agro di Spinazzola, altra meraviglia nel territorio del Parco Nazionale dell'Alta Murgia. Peccato solo che l'ambiente circostante non sia tenuto benissimo, con presenza di rifiuti fino all'interno della stessa cava. Potrebbe essere valorizzata meglio con un po' più di cura ed attenzione. Resta comunque il fatto che si tratta di uno scenario suggestivo e caratteristico come pochi. Fantastic place in the countryside of Spinazzola, another wonder in the territory of the Alta Murgia National Park. It is a pity that the surrounding environment is not kept very well, with the presence of waste up to the inside of the same quarry. It could be better enhanced with a little more care and attention. However, the fact remains that it is a suggestive and characteristic scenario like few others.
M	Mariangela on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wild e affascinanti. Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più e purtroppo occorre pagare 3 € di parcheggio da un anno a questa parte. Sicuramente una chicca della nostra fantastica Puglia. Wild and fascinating. I was expecting something more and unfortunately you have to pay € 3 for parking for a year now. Definitely a gem of our fantastic Puglia.

E poi sei comunque nell'Alta Murgia puoi abbinare questa visita ad altri luoghi facendo un bel trekking a piedi o in MTB. Martian place, beautiful Bauxite quarry, not very large but very suggestive. And then you are still in the Alta Murgia you can combine this visit with other places by doing a nice trekking on foot or by MTB.

Quindi purtroppo, poca libertà di girare se non per il sentiero indicato da loro e l'esborso per quanto esiguo ("""offerta libera"""...3 euro a persona al FAI... Fondo Ambiente Italiano fondazione SENZA scopo di lucro) per poter passeggiare tutt'altro che liberamente. Ovviamente se non avessi fatto l'offerta libera almeno di 3 euro non ci avrebbero fatto girare, nonostante l'ora e mezza di macchina che ho percorso apposta per visitare il sito. Nelle 3 euro dovevano essere compresi parcheggio in una zona a 3km dalla cava, la navetta andata e ritorno e la guida... Ovviamente se esco in natura, voglio camminare in natura quindi la navetta non l'abbiamo presa e abbiamo fatto una bella passeggiata sull'Alta Murgia, la macchina l'abbiamo parcheggiata altrove e la guida non l'abbiamo voluta. Obviously if I go out in nature, I want to walk in nature so we didn't take the shuttle and we took a nice walk on the Alta Murgia, we parked the car elsewhere and we didn't want the guide.
