Posto incantevole e ben curato... ci sono delle panchine e dei libri, per chi ha voglia di leggere in tutta tranquillità ? Il percorso inizia alla fine del paese dopo il cimitero e si inerpica in una comoda stradina ben segnalata per tutto il percorso. La cava è stata sicuramente resa fluibile a tutti da un resente "restauro". La visita merita e proseguendo si ha una panoramica vista sul lago di Lugano. Tutta la zona confinale è punteggiata dalla linea Cadorna. Fortificazioni mai utilizzata nel periodo della prima guerra mondiale. The quarry is located in Saltrio, a town on the border with Switzerland in the province of Varese. The route starts at the end of the village after the cemetery and climbs up in a comfortable road well marked for the entire route. The quarry was certainly made to flow to all by a resident "restoration". The visit is worthwhile and continuing you have a panoramic view of Lake Lugano. The entire confinal area is punctuated by the Cadorna line. Fortifications never used during the First World War.
