★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before you run to Rome, take a few moments for some Civitavecchia sights. One of them ... main church of the city. It is located in the historic center of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. The Cathedral was built over the remains of a small Franciscan church. Completed definitively in 1782 under the papacy Pope Pius VI. Recommend to visit because it really stand out with beauty.
