La valutazione di quest'ultima però cala per il semplice fatto della mancanza dei servizi igienici. Io che ho un urgente bisogno non posso usufruire di un servizio igienico in quanto assente. Ho anche avuto modo di notare che oltre al servizio igienico viene a mancare anche un distributore di bevande. Qualcuno provveda a sistemare tutto ciò. Per il resto, perfetto. Si raggiunge a piedi in 10 minuti, ma c'è un tratto pedonale ancora non completato, per cui per qualche centinaio di metri bisogna camminare a bordo strada. Non il massimo, soprattutto per chi ha con sé bagagli pesanti. Esiste una navetta dall'aeroporto, che però al terminal non è pubblicizzata (c'è un piccolissimo cartello con scritto "navetta aeroporto-park". Il treno non viene nemmeno menzionato. La fermata della navetta è proprio davanti all'ingresso viaggiatori attuale, al piano terra. Uscendo dall'aeroporto e chiedendo informazioni, sembra che molti non sappiano ancora che c'è anche una stazione ferroviaria. La navetta non rispetta le coincidenze: arrivando da Catania centrale, contemporaneamente è arrivata la navetta, ma è ripartita immediatamente senza aspettare i viaggiatori in discesa dal treno, per cui la maggior parte dei presenti ha deciso di proseguire a piedi. Sempre per quanto riguarda la navetta, è auspicabile l'installazione di una pensilina per i viaggiatori in attesa. Un servizio che forse soffre di qualche difetto di gioventù e che va certamente pubblicizzato meglio in aeroporto, anche perché i tempi di percorrenza rispetto al tragitto su gomma non hanno paragoni: solo 6 minuti per arrivare a Catania. Il problema riguarda la segnaletica della fermata della navetta, una volta usciti dall'aeroporto. Ho trovato turisti confusi tra la segnaletica dell'alibus e quella della navetta per la stazione Fontanarossa, in quanto le 2 fermate sono vicine e la segnaletica della navetta è piccolissima.
