★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Wirtin nahm uns zum Check-In die Ausweise ab, was eigentlich nicht in Ordnung ist. Sie vergaß dann, uns die Ausweise zurückzugeben. Als wir am nächsten Tag im Auto abfuhren, hatten wir unsere Ausweise noch immer nicht zurückbekommen. Erst als wir schon fast in Bologna waren, um dort das Auto abzugeben und mit dem Zug heim zu fahren, bemerkten wir, dass die Ausweise noch in der Unterkunft waren. Wir mussten umkehren, die Ausweise holen und zurückfahren. Dadurch hatten wir unseren Zug verpasst und mussten wegen der Zugbindung neue Fahrkarten kaufen. Schaden: knapp 200€. Die Wirtin, die uns ja regelwidrig die Ausweise zuerst abgenommen und dann nicht zurückgegeben hatte, war nicht einmal bereit, einen Teil des Schadens zu übernehmen. Menschlich sehr enttäuschend. Dadurch können wir diese Unterkunft leider nicht empfehlen.
 The landlady took our IDs from us for check-in, which is actually not okay. She then forgot to give us back the IDs. When we left in the car the next day, we still hadn't gotten our IDs back. It was only when we were almost in Bologna to drop off the car and take the train home that we noticed that the IDs were still in the accommodation. We had to turn around, get the IDs and drive back. As a result, we had missed our train and had to buy new tickets because of the train connection. Damage: almost 200 €. The landlady, who, contrary to the rules, first took our IDs and then didn't give them back, wasn't even willing to take on part of the damage. Humanly very disappointing. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo soggiornato in questo castello scoprendo un luogo mantenuto benissimo dalla proprietaria Anna, persona gentilissima, simpatica disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Camera spaziosissima, pulita, calda ed arredata con gusto. Colazione servita direttamente in camera e, volendo, pure la cena! Consigliatissimo.
We stayed in this castle discovering a place very well maintained by the owner Anna, a very kind, nice person available for every request. Very spacious, clean, warm and tastefully furnished room. Breakfast served directly in the room and, if desired, dinner as well! Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Struttura molto bella, partendo dall'entrata con la magnifica vista del castello, posto per parcheggiare la macchina, molto comodo per le valigie, stanze stupende e molto spaziose con l'idromassaggio in camera.
Personale gentilissimo con una bella accoglienza.
Molte attività da svolgere come il tour nel castello con la degustazione del vino, tour in bicicletta con Luigi , signore molto simpatico e gentile, che vi farà fare pezzi magnifici in bicicletta ed una piccola tappa alla degustazione dell'olio.
Colazione portata in camera molto abbondante e soprattutto molto buona.
Che dire complimenti, consiglio per le coppie di venirci.
Very nice structure, starting from the entrance with the magnificent view of the castle, place to park the car, very convenient for suitcases, beautiful and very spacious rooms with whirlpool in the room.
Very kind staff with a nice welcome.
Many activities to do such as the tour in the castle with wine tasting, bicycle tour with Luigi, a very nice and kind gentleman, who will make you make magnificent pieces on a bicycle and a small stop at the oil tasting.
Breakfast brought to the room very abundant and above all very good.
What about congratulations, I recommend for couples to come here.

Il castello è veramente bello e le stanza sono grandi e sembra davvero di essere nel rinascimento. Tutto impeccabile, dall'arrivo che ci hanno preso le valige con in montacarichi, evitando così che dovevamo portarle su per le scale, e ce le hanno portate sino in camera, alla stanza meravigliosa e servizio molto bello. Abbiamo avuto la colazione servita in camera. I proprietari sono molto disponibili in tutto, molto gentili e ospitali.
Abbiamo parcheggiato all'interno del parcheggio del castello.
In camera è presente una vasca idromassaggio e hai tutti i confort, la stanza è veramente grandissima.
Consiglio anche il giro in bicicletta con il signor Luigi, un signore molto simpatico e gentile, ci siamo divertiti tanto.

The castle is really beautiful and the rooms are big and it really feels like being in the renaissance. Everything impeccable, from the arrival that they took our suitcases with the elevator, thus avoiding that we had to carry them up the stairs, and they brought them up to our room, to the wonderful room and very nice service. We had breakfast delivered to our room. The owners are very helpful in everything, very kind and hospitable.
We parked inside the castle parking lot.
In the room there is a whirlpool bath and you have all the comforts, the room is really huge.
I also recommend the bike ride with Mr. Luigi, a very nice and kind gentleman, we had a lot of fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We received a free upgrade to the Grand Duke suite since it was unbooked. The owner took care of bringing our bags to our 3rd-floor room, and served us breakfast en suite fairly early so we could catch a plane. The rooms are even better in person than they look in the pictures, and make you feel like royalty. This is a genuine 500-year-old castle that is in good condition and retains all of its old-world charm.

Magical connection of the history and contemporary comfort. Speaking with Signora Anna have a feeling that I'm Speaking with member of my own family. Absolutely recommend. Fantastic impression

Fantastic ambience, very friendly and helpful owners, very good breakfast.
And as a bonus: an old wine cellar, with the possibility to taste and buy superb wine.
This is really an amazing place, a hidden gem.
