K	Krish Kraft on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci vado spesso con il mio quad Kavasaki e ogni volta provo la stessa emozione quando vedo comparire questi ruderi che compaiono improvvisamente dopo una curva. Vale la pena venirci. Si respira anche aria buona e se trovate una giornata limpida vedete la parte Nord della pianura della Capitanata, il lago di Lesina, il mare e la Maiella innevata. La vista è perciò stupenda. Nonostante il rifacimento il sito rimane sempre un rudere ma l'ambiente attorno e la posizione di questo castello regalano una visione spettacolare. Per gli appassionati ci sono 2 strade per raggiungerlo. Il più bello e affascinante è quello che parte da Apricena verso Sannicandro Garganico e che dopo appena circa 3-4 km di asfalto si trasforma in uno sterrato di circa 15 km (ci vuole minimo un fuoristrada). Questa si congiunge a 3 km dalla meta alla strada alternativa che invece parte da San Marco in Lamis e va per Sannicandro Garganico e che si può percorrere con una normale auto. Dopo il congiungimento di queste 2 strade, il percorso si fa mano a mano sempre più difficile costringendo a chi ha utilizzato una auto normale del secondo percorso a parcheggiare 1km e mezzo prima. I often go there with my Kavasaki quad bike and every time I feel the same emotion when I see these ruins appear suddenly appearing after a bend. It is worth going there. You can also breathe fresh air and if you find a clear day you can see the northern part of the Capitanata plain, the lake of Lesina, the sea and the snow-covered Maiella. The view is therefore wonderful. Despite the reconstruction, the site always remains a ruin but the surrounding environment and the position of this castle offer a spectacular view. For fans there are 2 ways to reach it. The most beautiful and fascinating is the one that starts from Apricena towards Sannicandro Garganico and which after just about 3-4 km of asphalt turns into a dirt road of about 15 km (it takes at least an off-road vehicle). This joins 3 km from the destination to the alternative road which instead starts from San Marco in Lamis and goes to Sannicandro Garganico and which can be traveled with a normal car. After the joining of these 2 roads, the route becomes increasingly difficult, forcing those who have used a normal car from the second route to park 1km and a half earlier. Abbiano approfittato di un giro in moto per visitarlo. Posto molto panoramico che andrebbe rivalutato e maggiormente valorizzato. Ad oggi resta un rudere abbastanza trascurato I did not know of the existence of this castle, I was intrigued by the history and legends of the place. We took advantage of a motorbike ride to visit it. Very scenic place that should be re-evaluated and more enhanced. Today it remains a fairly neglected ruin
F	F1tzy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place itself is a wreck, but it is free to enter and the walk there from the roadside parking was absolutely stunning. Wild flowers galore, fantasic views, horse's, cow's....... it is not for the unfit and the climb is quite steep in places and can be uneven.
