★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sull esistenza di un primo castello a Scarnafigi si sa con certezza che esisteva fin dal 1184, di proprietà dei marchesi di Busca venne ridotto in rovina nel corso di vicende belliche. L'attuale castello venne costruito nel 1641 da Alessandro Ponte discendente di un antica e nobile famiglia di Scarnafigi. L'edificio subì qualche rovina nel 1793 quando venne occupato e saccheggiato dalle truppe francesi. Severa e massiccia la facciata, elegante l'interno con il loggiato e porticato composto da colonne binate. Il castello è residenza privata quindi non visitabile se non in rare occasioni e solo in minima parte.
 On the existence of a first castle in Scarnafigi it is known with certainty that it existed since 1184, owned by the Marquises of Busca and reduced to ruin during the course of war. The current castle was built in 1641 by Alessandro Ponte, descendant of an ancient and noble family of Scarnafigi. The building suffered some ruin in 1793 when it was occupied and looted by French troops. The façade is severe and massive, while the interior is elegant with the loggia and portico composed of coupled columns. The castle is a private residence and therefore cannot be visited except on rare occasions and only minimally.
