★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di Niella Tanaro in provincia di Cuneo , di proprietà privata , è stato edificato tra il 1125 e il 1160 su un insediamento benedettino , già citato nel 1041 ed era situato in un punto strategico per controllare tutta la valle del Tanaro ; ha subito nei secoli modifiche e ristrutturazioni ; durante il periodo estivo , di domenica , si può visitare la parte esterna solo con visite guidate gratuite e su prenotazione dalle ore 15.00 alle 18.00 .
The privately owned castle of Niella Tanaro in the province of Cuneo was built between 1125 and 1160 on a Benedictine settlement, already mentioned in 1041 and was located in a strategic point to control the whole Tanaro valley; it has undergone changes and renovations over the centuries; during the summer, on Sundays, you can visit the outside only with free guided tours and by reservation from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
