I am torn between shouting its Beauty and name to the world and keeping it a selfish secret! If you go nowhere else in Tuscany do your self a favour for life and stay and enjoy the magic of this little piece of Heaven.

T	Teresa Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful property. We stayed in a little apartment, our breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning. The owners are a lovely couple, very welcoming. The hotel's pool and restaurant are an oasis in the forest just below the wall. The only drawback was no AC when we stayed in July, but they do have heat for cold weather visits.

From the moment we arrived Cecilia was the warmest most welcoming person we met on our entire trip. Our room was amazing with a breathtaking view from the patio, and an open fireplace we were encouraged (and made full use of) to use. We gratefully took the invitation to dinner, and it was easily the best meal of our trip, if not that I've ever had. Cecilia took the time too offer suggestions, and a off menu dinner (amazing btw) and talk to us about the history of the castle. As if not enough, breakfast was delivered to our room, and checking out included an invitation to her home, and more history of the site, plus being able to see artifacts collected by her relative. From Pompeii to Pisa it was easily our favorite spot, and should not be missed, I hope that Cecilia and her husband are well so that we may visit them again once the current situation has subsided.

It was nice to have different and delicious alternatives than just pasta. Is In fact an unique experience, in every sense. The visit to the castle is something that adds value to the experience and what better guides than the owners themselves :) We will come back.
