Completamente immerso nel verde.... Beautiful and historic Castle, is located in the upper part of the hilly village of Pavarolo. I highly recommend to go and visit it. Completely surrounded by greenery ....

Sono rimasto deluso prima nel vino (assegnatomi tutto compreso ) era not bevibile , su una bottiglia marrone antica senza etichetta , olfatticamente impresentabile ANONIMO, poi nei 2 primi (agnolotti e spaghetti i peggiori con pezzettini di funghì ( dovevano essere tagliolini come la signora mi aveva presentato nel menu x telefono) la panna cotta / bunet erano aziendale !! Solo il prezzo 45€ a persona come cena di capodanno . X me 30 € erano già troppo , Ok x quel prezzo nn si può pretendere , ma così mai sono stato deluso!!!!! Nemmeno nei bar , o trattorie. I had been there a couple of times for mixed fried food a couple of years ago, quite good old-fashioned ok. I was disappointed first in the wine (assigned all inclusive) it was not drinkable, on an old brown bottle without label, olfactically unpresentable ANONYMOUS, then in the 2 first courses (agnolotti and spaghetti the worst with small pieces of mushrooms (they had to be tagliolini like the lady had me presented in the menu x phone) the panna cotta / bunet were corporate !! Only the price € 45 per person as a New Year's Eve dinner. For me 30 € was already too much, Ok x that price can not be expected, but so I have never been disappointed !!!!! Not even in bars, or trattorias.

Da vedere assolutamente i soffitti a cassettoni del 1300 conservati benissimo. Very nice but mostly kept very well. The tour made by the owners allows to know a part of the castle's history. Must see the coffered ceilings of 1300 very well kept.

Taluni "recensori" di questo sito, frettolosi e superficiali, confondono il Castello di Pavarolo con il vicino "ristorante del castello", che però nulla a a che vedere con il menzionato Castello, esprimendo valutazioni e commenti su piatti e menù del tutto inappropriati e fuorvianti per i visitatori! Pensare, prima di scrivere... Pavarolo Castle is NOT, has never been and has never had the ambition of becoming a restaurant: it is exclusively a historical monument with painted ceilings from the 1300s (among the oldest in Piedmont), surrounded by its park and open to visitors . Some hasty and superficial "reviewers" of this site confuse Castello di Pavarolo with the nearby "castle restaurant", which however has nothing to do with the aforementioned Castello, expressing evaluations and comments on completely inappropriate and misleading dishes and menus for visitors! Think, before writing ...
