Attenzione alla strada perchè ad un certo punto diventa impraticabile in auto e costringe a tornare indietro facendo una manovra difficoltosa (se arrivate da località Fopla)
Cute. Reachable only on foot.
Pay attention to the road because at some point it becomes impracticable by car and forces you to go back by making a difficult maneuver (if you come from Fopla)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antico castello ( risale probabilmente alla fine del dodicesimo secolo...) che faceva parte delle fortificazioni medievali parmensi a protezione del territorio contro il rivale Comune di Piacenza.
Coinvolto in molti scontri con i Visconti anche nei secoli successivi, quando era occupato dalla nobile famiglia Pallavicini, è stato poi trasformato alla fine del 15' secolo, in castello-residenza.
Si racconta che nel suo cortile, esista un profondo pozzo, pieno di lame affilate un cui venivano gettati i condannati a morte.
Un'altra leggenda, più simpatica, racconta che di notte, venga visitato da spiritelli dispettosi, che si divertono ad annodare capelli e criniera dei cavalli.
Molto ben conservato, è privato e non è visitabile.
Ancient castle (probably dating back to the end of the twelfth century ...) which was part of the medieval fortifications of Parma to protect the territory against the rival Municipality of Piacenza.
Involved in many clashes with the Visconti even in the following centuries, when it was occupied by the noble Pallavicini family, it was then transformed at the end of the 15th century into a castle-residence.
It is said that in his courtyard, there is a deep well, full of sharp blades into which those sentenced to death were thrown.
Another, nicer legend tells that at night, it is visited by mischievous sprites, who enjoy tying horses' hair and mane.
Very well preserved, it is private and cannot be visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo il castello non è visitabile poiché privato e sembra praticamente quasi abbandonato. Per raggiungerlo si deve percorrere a piedi una strada che inizia a Specchio. È stato anche nascondiglio per i partigiani.
Unfortunately the castle cannot be visited because it is private and it seems practically almost abandoned. To reach it you have to walk along a road that starts in Specchio. It was also a hiding place for the partisans.
