★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di carbonana è uno dei castelli più splendidi che si possono vedere nel territorio eugubino. Le prime fonti scritte di esso, risalgono al 1192 e dalle stesse fonti, sembrerebbe essere stato utilizzato dal comune di Gubbio come strumento di difesa del suo territorio. Nel 2011 fu acquistato da una coppia canadese, la quale lo restaurò nel 2014, dandolo a nuova vita. Essendo una residenza, non è visitabile, ma è ben osservabile dall'esterno dalla val d'Assino sottostante.
 The carbonana castle is one of the most splendid castles that can be seen in the Gubbio area. The first written sources of it date back to 1192 and from the same sources, it seems to have been used by the municipality of Gubbio as an instrument of defense of its territory. In 2011 it was bought by a Canadian couple, who restored it in 2014, giving it new life. Being a residence, it cannot be visited, but it can be easily observed from the outside from the Assino valley below.
