Smart people if you do not control them they give you the waste pieces like veal liver you ask for 4 slices and at home you find the end of the piece made from small pieces. You ask for 4 steaks and a good piece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carni di prima qualità (prima stella) e personale dietro il bancone gentilissimo e disponibile (seconda stella). La signora dietro la cassa era alquanto antipatica –“incredible”! Mi avrà preso per un americano. Abbiamo casa a Ostia dal 1969.
Meat of first quality (first star) and staff behind the counter very kind and helpful (second star). The lady behind the counter was somewhat unpleasant - "incredible"! He must have taken me for an American. We have had a home in Ostia since 1969.

Excellent meat. I prefer preparations ... p. Eg Hamburger with radicchio and gorgonzola, eggplant meatballs, chicken with citrus, provolone and speck rolls ... and then the Mexicans!

High quality butcher shop, where you can find many types and cuts of meat, including sheep, poultry and rabbits. The choice of preparations varies, all of excellent workmanship. Trained staff, willing to fulfill customer requests. Also stocked with other quality food. Special praise for the owner Vittorio, always helpful and friendly. Great.

I've been using Castelli for years but having also tried other butchers in Ostia, I am increasingly convinced that meat is the top here.
