Unmissable visit for those who go to Val di Non. Castle with period furniture, several original stube, owned by the same family for hundreds of years. Guided tour of about 1 1/2 hours interesting and well done.

Splendid castle of the Val di Non, still inhabited and therefore only partially visited inside. We still visit the chapel with extraordinary frescoes by the Baschenis brothers, numerous beautifully furnished rooms and the kitchen. Unfortunately, the interior, by the will of the owners, cannot be photographed. Roberta was a fantastic guide: very well prepared, communicative, nice and in love with her job. He added that extra something to an already pleasant visit ..

The castle is private and still inhabited. It is possible to partially visit it ONLY WITH RESERVATION on pre-established days and times, unlike what you can guess on some websites. I didn't book, so, like many other people, I had an empty trip. From the outside you can not see anything, it is accessed from a dirt road between the apple orchards in private property, and with a good sense of orientation considering the almost absence of signs that indicate it. Furthermore, the town of Tassullo does not have numerous parking lots. The owner was almost bothered by the visitors.

Great place to visit. You will walk around the castle and if you are lucky enough you will meet the Count.

One of the most beautiful medieval castles in Trentino. Unique octagonal tower dating back to the 12th century.

We have decided to ask to get our money back and not to visit the Castle. The owner has been very disrespectul while we were waiting at the entrance, just because my 7 year old daughter and my niece were making a picture. We will not give any money to this kind of person.

Walking up the long path girdled by apple orchards to Castel Valér, you see the majesty of this castle. Inhabited by a member of the long-standing Spaur family, you will be thoroughly impressed, not only by the collection of original artifacts, but also by the prisitine gardens and grounds. To see tons more images and get a detailed guide for Castel Valér, visit Amy Guides online. I must admit my favourite feature of the castle is Archie, the resident parrot who echoes, "Ciao!" as you pass into the living room. What an enchanting, magical place. If you love castles half as much as I do, don't miss this gem, deemed by the President of the Medieval Castles Association of Italy as "the most important castle in Europe" due to the quality and significance of the artifacts housed inside.
