★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful castle upon a hill. Be careful: entrance for cars is a little narrow. For bigger cars i would suggest to park outside the walls of the castle. The rooms are great, the food is delicious and well made.

Anyway, if you are in pergine, you have got to visit it, it is not that far from the town, around 30 minutes walking/ascending.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best deal in all of Italy. Wonderful staff and owners. Fantastic food. Could not recommend a better place to relax and enjoy the mountains. Look out your window at night and you feel like a king looking down on the townspeople below.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic medieval castle with nice view of the surroundings. The food in the restaurant is great, if a bit pricey.
You can see some of the inside of the castle but not the whole thing. If you want to see more you need to book a night at the hotel.
They also do one week italian language courses . Should be fun if you have the time and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short steep bike ride to get to the entrance of the castle. It is a challenge to walk up to the bar with biking shoes but well worth the effort. The inside of the castle looks great as does the bar.
Good coffee, cake and friendly staff. Gorgeous views in and around the castle.
