In summer they are open every evening except Monday, and they make an aperitif with tasting of local products (dinner if desired). The wines are crazy.

Noi abbiamo acquistato vino, olio e il digestivo al finocchietto. Castel di Salve offers tastings and visits to their cellar. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. We bought wine, oil and the fennel digestive.

Der Ausbau des Primitivo und des Negroamaro sind phänomenal. Aber auch der Weiße und der Rosato sind frische Weine in die man sich verlieben kann. Unbedingt besuchen und Wein kaufen, es lohnt sich. Wird für uns in Zukunft ein Muss wenn wir in Südapulien sind. We recommend. Very friendly and competent. Reflects the professionalism of Apulian winegrowing. The expansion of the Primitivo and the Negroamaro are phenomenal. But also the white and the rosato are fresh wines that you can fall in love with. Be sure to visit and buy wine, it's worth it. Will be a must for us in the future when we are in South Apulia.

Poi la cantina con degustazione. Anche qui gentilezza e preparazione. We visited the mansion for the extraordinary opening of the Historic Houses in October. Beautiful and truly welcoming host. Then the cellar with tasting. Here, too, kindness and preparation.

J	Jordan Lucas Tyler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Castel Di Salva after seeing many good reviews on google. Sadly our experience was very disappointing. We arrived for a 5pm wine tasting and waited to start for 15 minutes for another party who were late. During the waiting, the hosts didn’t even think to offer us a glass, surprising being in a winery...! When we finally started the host became very anxious as there began a stream of people walking in who hadn’t booked. She was constantly going back and forth as she was trying to deal with them/telling her colleague to deal with them...it got to the point that we actually felt so uncomfortable due to the host getting very stressed. The wine tasting was in a beautiful and original building but unfortunately that meant a loud echo from the other end of the room from additional groups as we tried to listen to the explanation of each individual wine. People kept passing to go to the bathroom, we couldn’t hear clearly what was being said. Another issue was the serving of the wine which was literally a mouthful or two each (or less for one of us it was never poured evenly). We enjoy wine tasting and expect it to be a relaxing experience where you learn about the history of the wine and how it is made in a welcoming environment - this really fell short. On the positive side the wine was delicious and we bought a couple of bottles.

Riccardo our guide, is a young and ambitious family member of the family that owns the winery. All in all I would recommend it if you’d like to taste some wine from the area.
