Quite large station located on the Naples-Cassino-Rome line equipped with two ticket counters and an automatic ticket office, high-quality bar / restaurant at affordable prices and railway police station and some station maps to guide those who do not know it. The bathrooms are of the lowest level, very dirty (the bathroom of the station bar is much better). The underpass is also connected to the outside of the station. Finally it is well connected with Roma Termini (there is also a regional one for Roma Tiburtina), Avezzano (there is also a regional one for Sulmona), Campobasso and Napoli Centrale. There is also a regional for Benevento, Intercity for Bari Centrale and Roma Termini and IntercityNotte for Lecce.

The station is fantastic, in travertine, with arches and narthex, rebuilt with sweat and effort after the war because it witnessed multiple and bloody bombings by the dear angels that have practically devastated the whole of Italy, after having canceled the Amerindian race for centuries. We cannot change history, but we must know it and reread it objectively. You who write that the station is horrible, have you looked in the mirror? You are not worthy to enter, stay out of it because you will surely dirty it ... Use your smoky box to move around, 'what a "favor" to the planet ...

My trafiliśmy na korek podczas zjazdu w dół i w pośpiechu kupowaliśmy bilety w automacie zaraz przed odjazdem pociągu.
A train station like a train station. Pretty small. Buses to Montecassino leave from the cafe (green circle in the photo) in front of the station. However, it is worth waving the driver to a stop, because they only drive 3 times a day. The bus then stops at the stop on Viale Ivanoe Bonomi (yellow circle). If someone comes from Rome in the morning and wants to go down at 12:50 to come back to Rome by train at 13:20, I advise you to buy tickets in the morning. We had a traffic jam while going downhill and we hurriedly bought tickets from the machine right before the train left. If not for the help of the conductor who waited for us, the train would have missed us.

Indication of the generalized neglect of the municipality in which it stands, the structure survives in its decadent atavism and apparent self-sufficiency. Gray perfect match with the rest of the town. Open air distributor of indolent melancholy.

A historic town in the second world war known as monte casino with the beautiful Benedictine monastery that was then completely destroyed and now shines again. Well worth a visit

The station is horrible, there is no luggage deposit, the buses to monte cassino go whenever they want and nobody is able to tell you when that might be.
