c	chiara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima camminata di un'oretta che parte dalla val di Mello. Dislivello impegnativo per chi non è abituato a camminare. Poco prima di arrivare all'alpe c'è un belvedere che affaccia sulla val Masino. Peccato che l'alpe fosse chiusa, nonostante fosse fine giugno. Beautiful walk of an hour that starts from the Val di Mello. Challenging elevation gain for those who are not used to walking. Shortly before arriving at the alp there is a viewpoint overlooking the Val Masino. Too bad that the alp was closed, even though it was the end of June.

Structure positioned at the foot of the surrounding peaks in a panoramic position. It can be reached in a couple of hours on foot from the San Martino car park.

M	Matteo Gozzini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ci si arriva in due ore e mezza di sentiero da San Martino che è dove si può lasciare la macchina i primi 4,5 km sono piuttosto pianeggianti mentre gli ultimi 2 sono ripidi e abbastanza impegnativi calcolando che il dislivello che si affronta e di 600 metri il panorama e stupendo ma il rifugio lo trovato chiuso non essendo ancora stagione you can get there in two and a half hours from San Martino, which is where you can leave the car the first 4.5 km are rather flat, while the last 2 are steep and quite challenging, calculating that the difference in altitude is 600 meters the view is wonderful but the shelter found it closed since it was not yet season
S	Sylvain Querné on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viste mozzafiato. Accesso non semplicissimo per tutti ma anche fuori allenamento ce la si può fare con un po' di buona volontà :) Breathtaking views. Access is not easy for everyone but even out of practice it can be done with a little good will :)

A poca distanza un laghetto in cui rinfrescarsi. La salita per raggiungere la Casera è abbastanza impegnativa. Small, but hospitable structure with friendly and helpful staff, little space to eat, but the view and friendliness amply compensate. Nearby there is a small lake where you can cool off. The climb to reach the Casera is quite challenging.
L	La via della lentezza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partenza dalla Val di Mello per un'escursione differente dal semplice passeggiare tra un rifugio e l'altro (ristoranti più che rifugi) che incontrate uno dopo l'altro in un lungo tratto di piana? Bene. Vi consiglio questa bella camminata. Staccando dall'ultimo rifugio (Rasega) si segue il sentiero che si immerge nella foresta con gradualità sino ad incontrare una fantastica cascata. Da qui il tratturo si fa più impegnativo e di maggior pendenza, ma con un buon paio di scarpe da trekking si sale. Ne vale la pena perchè ci si trova in una foresta di conifere. Dopo un paio di ore con anche la sosta al belvedere d'obbligo, si giunge in questa bella vallata. Se siete fortunati la casera apre per qualche genere di conforto: un piatto di pasta, un panino oppure un eccellente yogurt fatto in casa, o meglio in malga. If you are lucky the casera opens for some kind of comfort: a plate of pasta, a sandwich or an excellent homemade yogurt, or rather in the malga.
