★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La seconda casera che si incontra risalendo la Val Clusa lungo il sentiero 546 è la Casera di Mezzo.
Quasi una replica della Prima Casera, è un piccolo edificio essenziale con interni spartani collocato al centro di un'area prativa che occasionalmente viene sfalciata nelle zone di transito.
Il luogo è tranquillo e circondato da suggestive faggete cresciute con tenacia fra pietraie derivanti dal disfacimento delle imponenti pareti rocciose che racchiudono la valle.
Nei pressi si intravedono ruderi di altri edifici segno dell'attività antropica che si svolgeva in passato.
Il sentiero a tratti è segnato dagli schianti di alberi che sono stati rimossi dai volontari permettendo quasi sempre un agevole passaggio.
In alcuni punti si attraversano vallette laterali che confluendo nel torrente principale attraversano perpendicolarmente il sentiero spesso eroso, fare quindi attenzione ai periodi ricchi di precipitazioni sia piovose che nevose poiché queste zone potrebbero risultare pericolose o inaccessibili.

Da considerarsi utile come riparo d'emergenza o per riposarsi prima di riprendere la salita verso la terza casera.
ATTENZIONE nel luogo individuato come Terza Casera di Val Clusa non è più presente una struttura ma solo le tracce in pietra delle fondamenta quindi non contare su quel riferimento per un riparo, c'è solo il bivio fra il 546 e la salita a Forcella Scalabras.

Almost a replica of the Prima Casera, it is a small essential building with spartan interiors located in the center of a grassy area that is occasionally mown in the transit areas.
The place is quiet and surrounded by suggestive beech woods grown with tenacity among stony ground deriving from the unraveling of the imposing rocky walls that enclose the valley.
Nearby you can see the ruins of other buildings, a sign of the anthropic activity that took place in the past.
The path is sometimes marked by the crashes of trees that have been removed by the volunteers, almost always allowing an easy passage.
In some points you cross side valleys that, flowing into the main stream, cross the often eroded path perpendicularly, so pay attention to periods full of rain, both rainy and snow, as these areas could be dangerous or inaccessible.
Always consult the weather and the trail situation on the CAI website.
To be considered useful as an emergency shelter or to rest before resuming the climb towards the third casera.
ATTENTION in the place identified as Terza Casera di Val Clusa there is no longer a structure but only the stone traces of the foundations so do not count on that reference for a shelter, there is only the junction between the 546 and the climb to Forcella Scalabras.
