★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Genialer Ricotta aus Ziegenmilch, einfach morgens bis 12 Uhr vorbeischauen und man bekommt die Herstellung live mit. Verkauf vor Ort (günstiger als in den Läden).
Genial ricotta made from goat's milk, just drop by in the morning until 12 o'clock and you will get the production live. On-site sales (cheaper than in stores).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Petite entreprise familiale de fabrication de fromages et ricotta de chèvre ( que l on peut goûter sur place ). On passe devant les chèvres en arrivant à la boutique, et on peut assister à la fabrication de la ricotta. Producteurs bio, qui fournissent les restaurants de l île, et vendent aussi aux particuliers ( mise des produits sous vide à la demande ). Ils font aussi leurs câpres, cucunccis, et malvasia. Meilleurs prix que dans les commerces de distribution, et surtout, qualité et fraîcheur au top !
Small family business producing goat cheese and ricotta (which can be tasted on site). We walk past the goats when arriving at the shop, and we can watch the making of the ricotta. Organic producers, who supply the restaurants on the island, and also sell to individuals (vacuuming products on demand). They also make their capers, cucunccis, and malvasia. Better prices than in distribution shops, and above all, top quality and freshness!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Niente di emozionante, latticini non fanno la differenza con quelli che si trovano nei supermercati, poca scelta di formaggi, accoglienza fredda. La camminata dal porto fino alla location non viene ripagata.
Nothing exciting, dairy products do not make the difference with those found in supermarkets, little choice of cheeses, cold welcome. The walk from the port to the location doesn't pay off.

Delicious hot ricotta as well as cheeses. I also recommend the canned caponata - unmatched - and the blackberry jam.

Il Caseificio è incastonato nella natura dell'Isola di Vulcano ai piedi del Gran Cratere.
Se arrivi all'ora giusta potrai vedere di presenza la lavorazione della ricotta e acquistarla appena pronta.
Numerosa la varietà dei formaggi, con capperi, peperoncino, ecc., e si trovano in varie fasi di stagionatura. Puoi acquistare ottime marmellate che si accompagnano in modo eccellente con i formaggi.
Siediti all'ombra e con un'ottimo vino rosso immergiti nei sapori. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's great to meet an authentic cheese-maker on this small island. The milk comes all from local animals who live on the slopes of the volcano. The cheese is all made using traditional methods using a meticulously clean environment. You can buy the several kinds of delicious cheese in the downtown supermarket or also on other islands, but I highly recommend stopping by the caseificio and having a chat with the friendly owner.
