L	Luca Bregoli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto fantastico, proprio sul confine tra Emilia e Toscana questa cascata regala momenti di relax e refrigerio ai suoi avventori, nota negativa che non dipende dalla natura riguarda la strada per raggiungerla che non è accessibile causa un cedimento del terreno quindi bisogna parcheggiare sulla strada principale (che non offre veri e propri parcheggi) e poi raggiungere la cascata a piedi Great place, right on the border between Emilia and Tuscany this waterfall offers moments of relaxation and refreshment to his patrons, downside which is not dependent on the nature as the way to reach it is not accessible due to land subsidence so you have to park on the main road ( that offers no real parking) and then get to the foot waterfall

La temperatura dell'acqua è fredda ma si riesce fare il bagno. Fabulous place to cool off when it's hot in the city. A bit crowded but worth it. The water temperature is cold but you can swim.

Le cascate creano un piccolo specchio d'acqua ed un ruscello dove è possibile immergersi. L’acqua è limpida come poche: è possibile vedere i pesci anche a cinque metri di distanza. Da una parte c’è il costone tutto di rocce e vegetazione sparsa qua e là, cespugli rigogliosi e fiori gialli. Dall’altra c’è la riva abbastanza ampia fatta di sassi e zone d’ombra per via degli alberi che la circondano. C’è un ampio parcheggio a 200 metri dall’inizio del percorso a piedi, di fronte a un bar ristorante in cui è possibile comprare tutto quello che avete dimenticato di prendere in città, oppure si può parcheggiare su uno spiazzo al lato della strada proprio a due passi dal punto in cui bisogna necessariamente lasciare le macchine. Consigliata l'escursione alla città fantasma del Borgo di Castiglioncello di circa un quarto d'ora. Unspoilt and surrounded by greenery, on the border between Emilia and Tuscany. Comunque il fiume Santerno è molto bello lungo tutto il corso, non importa fermarsi proprio alle cascate, ci sono altre pozze abbastanza profonde per fare il bagno, è molto più divertente esplorare il fiume che stare come sulla spiaggia di Rimini sotto la cascata ;-) ma stati attenti, le pareti fanno paura... sembra che da un momento all'altro le pietre possono staccarsi... Adoro questo posto, sembra essere davvero immersi nella natura, ma la natura selvaggia, non addomesticata. Beautiful waterfalls, less and less water though ... Anyway the Santerno river is very beautiful all along the course, it doesn't matter to stop right at the waterfalls, there are other pools deep enough to swim, it's much more fun to explore the river than to stay as on the Rimini beach under the waterfall ;-) but be careful, the walls are scary ... it seems that at any moment the stones can come off ... I love this place, it seems to be really immersed in nature, but nature wild, not domesticated.
