L'intero salto è ricoperto di muschio verdissimo che ne esalta la bellezza e le qualità naturalistiche. Propongo fortemente questo luogo come geosito da proteggere e rispettare. I strongly propose this place as a geosite to be protected and respected.

Per raggiungerla bisogna, sulla strada che collega il paese a Santopadre, svoltare a destra su via Pantanone (l'ultima traversa prima di raggiungere il campo sportivo). Dopo circa 500 metri sulla destra, dopo aver superato un gruppo di due/tre case, si trova un piazzale dove posteggiare la macchina. Si procede scendendo e percorrendo una strada sterrata fino ad addentrarsi in un piccolo bosco. Si arriva ai piedi della fonte dove inizia il tratto più "impegnativo" dove bisogna muoversi su sassi e rocce, pertanto si richiede di indossare calzature idonee e anti scivolo. Consiglio questa piccola escursione. The "La Pilella" nature reserve is located in the municipality of Rocca d'Arce. To reach it, on the road that connects the town to Santopadre, turn right onto via Pantanone (the last street before reaching the sports field). After about 500 meters on the right, after passing a group of two / three houses, there is a square where to park the car. Proceed downhill and along a dirt road until you enter a small wood. You arrive at the foot of the source where the most "challenging" stretch begins where you have to move on stones and rocks, therefore you are required to wear suitable and non-slip footwear. I recommend this little excursion.
a	antonio de meo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo tentato diversi percorsi, siamo anche riusciti ad avvicinarci abbastanza da sentire le voci di altri visitatori, ma dopo mezz'ora di camminata su strade abbastanza impervie abbiamo rinunciato, non riuscendo a trovare la via esatta per raggiungere la fonte. Qualche segnale di indicazione assenti sia lungo la strada interna che nel boschetto sarebbe gradita. Un pomeriggio buttato. M	Marianna Ricci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Assolutamente sconsigliato per chi non è allenato, infatti, per arrivare, è necessario camminare prima per cinquecento metri circa per una strada sterrata, successivamente per uno strettissimo sentiero in discesa e poi risalire il fiumicello. Il rientro è molto faticoso e soprattutto, la mancanza di segnalazioni, non permette una risalita tranquilla. Ovviamente, attraversando la boscaglia, è consigliabile l'aiuto con un bastone, anche perché è possibile incontrare serpenti. Le cascate, dalle foto di chi le ha raggiunte, sembrano essere molto carine, ma la totale assenza di segnalazioni o di un percorso organizzato, fa capire la totale assenza del Comune che potrebbe fare qualcosa per attrarre un po' di turismo. Ovviamente le cascate non siamo riusciti a vederle, perché non muniti di un abbigliamento idoneo (pur indossando scarpette da ginnastica). Obviously, when crossing the bush, it is advisable to help with a stick, also because it is possible to meet snakes. The waterfalls, from the photos of those who have reached them, seem to be very nice, but the total absence of reports or an organized path, makes us understand the total absence of the Municipality that could do something to attract a little tourism. Obviously we were unable to see the falls, because they were not equipped with suitable clothing (even if they were wearing gym shoes).
