L'istituto promuove anche numerose attività culturali, oltre che di conservazione, tutela e valorizzazione del proprio patrimonio, come il Premio biennale per la critica e la filologia e la rivista "Archivi del Nuovo". Officially opened to the public in 1989, the house is now home to a center for studies on modern and contemporary literature propitiated by the presence of the precious archive and the writer's library. The institute also promotes numerous cultural activities, as well as conservation, protection and enhancement of its heritage, such as the Biennial Prize for Criticism and Philology and the "Archivi del Nuovo" magazine.

The real house in which the twilight poet Marino Moretti (1885-1979) lived, preserving manuscripts, works and part of the library.
