★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A 26 (ish) seater non-pretentious eatery with great staff and great food done well. The mixed fish grill does everything it needs to and more. The baccala equally worth and order. A bottle of this (photo) slightly sweet house white and you’re sorted.
Come here before all the tourists do ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant in Pompeia, at a short walking distance from one of the main entrance to the archeological park.
Welcoming staff, a pleasant room with kitchen view.
We had lunch and come back for dinner. The food is very well made with excellent ingredients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd fly back to Pompeii just for this meal. It was so delicious. We ordered the trio appetizer and, and I can't remember the name of my main course, but it was AMAZING- the parmesan was delicious, the arugula (rocket) was crisp, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The house red wine was phenomenal, and grew more aromatic with every bite of food, and with every sip.
The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere. My dinner guests and I sat outside and people watched and ate. The waiter was super helpful and made great suggestions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mixed charcuterie and cheese plate was excellent. Very reasonably priced house wine for 7€ a bottle, a decent wine. The staff were excellent, the sweetest. We arrived late (10:30pm) and offered to take our pasta to go as by the time we were ready for the main dish, it was nearly an hour after closing time. But the staff insisted on us taking our time, telling us to just enjoy it. Pasta was very good, they plated it for two people because they knew we were sharing one pasta. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Food was so good overall. Definitely come here for a meal in Pompeii.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good dishes! No reason to visit other restaurants near ruins and cathedral because it is close. Most of nice places in Pompei are located in walkable distance. My husband is native Italian and also local there. We do not go again if the food is not good enough. But every single time we dined in, always good good and service. Highly recommend to all visiting Pompei and looking for real local food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a open Kitchen for you to view the "magic" which is nice. What isn't nice is watching my food get thrown in a microwave and paying top dollar for it. Taste was decent. But I wouldn't eat here again.
