Da una finestra aperta usciva una voce che citava Giovanni: "Quando eri giovane andavi dove volevi, ora che sei vecchio altri ti cingeranno le vesti". Mi sono svegliato improvvisamente e mi sono trovato a Cicengo provincia di Alessandria. Avevo con me Liliana, mia moglie; ormai da tre anni vive in un altra dimensione. Qui ogni giorno incontro persone DEDICATE, che sanno dare al proprio lavoro l'impronta di vissuta professionalità. Vorrei pronunciare tutti i loro nomi. Non si può. Consideratelo fatto. Tutti noi ospiti del pensionato Amione viviamo con loro i giorni incomparabili della nostra età. Non è un sogno. I had a dream. Le cure, al di là delle numerose attività di riabilitazione, si fondano sopratutto in piccoli gesti di grande umanità da parte delle operatrici e del personale. L'attenzione che viene posta ad ogni singolo ospite è il valore più importante per non permettere di sentirsi numeri del gruppo ma parte essenziale di un'unica famiglia. A structure that does not only offer hospitality. The treatments, beyond the numerous rehabilitation activities, are based above all on small gestures of great humanity by the operators and staff. Amione rispecchia quello che io cerco in una casa di riposo e cioè: rispetto e cortesia nei confronti degli ospiti nonchè un'ottima gestione della casa. Affermo questo per esperienza diretta, in quanto mia mamma è ospite del pensionato da circa 10 anni. Mazzeo The retired Dr. G. Amione reflects what I am looking for in a retirement home, namely: respect and courtesy towards guests as well as excellent management of the house. I say this from direct experience, as my mother has been a guest of the pensioner for about 10 years. Mazzeo
G	Giusy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mio padre è ospitato da un mese presso questo pensionato, durante questo periodo è rifiorito. Per cui la mia esperienza per ora è positiva. Purtroppo il Covid non permette l'ingresso ai familiari all'interno della struttura e questo da l'impressione di allontamento, nonostante si possano fare visite in apposita sala tutto ciò risulta freddo. Speriamo che tutto ciò passi al più presto e si possa tornare ad una vita "normale", piena di abbracci e di affetto. I nostri genitori sono in un periodo della loro vita in cui sono estremamente vulnerabili e hanno bisogno di tanto Amore. Nel frattempo ci accontentiamo di videochiamate. Grazie a tutto il personale per accudire mio padre, come se fosse il loro papà. My father has been staying at this boarding house for a month, during which time he flourished again. So my experience for now is positive. Unfortunately, Covid does not allow family members to enter the structure and this gives the impression of distancing, although it is possible to make visits to a special room, everything is cold. We hope that all this will pass as soon as possible and that we can return to a "normal" life, full of hugs and affection. Our parents are in a period of their life when they are extremely vulnerable and need a lot of love. In the meantime, we are content with video calls. Thanks to all the staff for looking after my father, as if he were their dad.

Pensavo di arrivare a Cicengo e trovare il solito casermone in cemento, effetto ospedale......quanto mi sbagliavo!! La struttura si articola su più livelli, con terrazzi, cortili interni e giardini, il tutto immerso nelle colline alessandrine. Si ha l'idea di una casa vacanza, sia per il verde tutt'intorno che per l'ordine, la pulizia e la tranquillità che trasmette il contesto. Ma quello che mi ha sorpreso di più è la cura, l'attenzione ed il coinvolgimento che tutto il personale, dalla Direttrice agli Operatori tutti, rivolgono ai residenti. ... Grazie per tutto ciò che fate. Una domanda: posso già prenotarmi un posto per un futuro soggiorno???! When I had to look for a structure for my parents, who are elderly, they pointed me to the Pensionato G. Amione. I thought I'd get to Cicengo and find the usual concrete barracks, hospital effect ...... how wrong I was !! The structure is divided into several levels, with terraces, internal courtyards and gardens, all immersed in the Alexandrian hills. You have the idea of a holiday home, both for the greenery all around and for the order, cleanliness and tranquility that the context transmits. But what surprised me the most is the care, attention and involvement that all the staff, from the Director to the Operators, give to the residents. ... Thanks for everything you do. One question: can I already book a place for a future stay ???!

La struttura non si presenta asettica e fredda, anzi la sensazione che si ha è quella di entrare in una grande casa, in una famiglia, dove tutto il personale si prende cura degli ospiti, si rende disponibile e rende il soggiorno sereno. Nonostante il periodo che stiamo passando, si sono adoperati da subito per permettere le visite ai parenti in sicurezza. La serenità che ho compensa la distanza da Torino. E la zia apprezza la cucina! I have my auntie of 88 staying at the facility since last September. The structure is not aseptic and cold, on the contrary the feeling you get is that of entering a large house, a family, where all the staff take care of the guests, make themselves available and make the stay peaceful. Despite the period we are going through, they immediately worked to allow visits to relatives in safety. The serenity I have compensates for the distance from Turin. And the aunt appreciates cooking!

Mia madre è stata accolta come fosse in famiglia fin dal primo giorno, mi sento tranquillo e so di poter contare su tutto lo staff come fossero familiari. Non è scontato un apporto umano così elevato, ma in questa struttura partendo dalla direttrice Federica fino ad arrivare a tutto il personale (menziono in particolare il fisioterapista Filippo con il quale mia madre ha legato moltissimo) si può percepire quella differenza che vi è tra una buona struttura professionale e una struttura che unisce la professionalità ad un'umanità profonda. Ringrazio ancora per tutti gli aggiornamenti che mi date sulla gestione giornaliera di mia madre... e mi complimento per la gestione scrupolosa che siete riusciti a tenere in questo complicato periodo di pandemia. Consiglio la struttura a tutte quelle persone che hanno un parente bisognoso di aiuto che purtroppo non possono più tenere con loro e che sono alla ricerca di una vera e propria seconda famiglia. My mother was welcomed as if she were in the family from the first day, I feel calm and I know I can count on all the staff as if they were family. Such a high human contribution is not taken for granted, but in this structure, starting from the director Federica up to all the staff (I mention in particular the physiotherapist Filippo with whom my mother has bonded a lot) you can perceive the difference that exists between a good professional structure and a structure that combines professionalism with deep humanity. Thanks again for all the updates you give me on my mother's daily management ... and I congratulate you on the scrupulous management that you have managed to keep in this complicated period of pandemic. I recommend the structure to all those people who have a relative in need of help who unfortunately can no longer keep with them and who are looking for a real second family. M	Michele on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho mia mamma da qualche mese ricoverata presso questa struttura, nonostante l'indescrivibile dispiacere nel lasciare un familiare sono contento perchè qui si prendono cura di lei in modo professionale ed affettuoso. Il rapporto con il personale (a tutti i livelli) è ottimo ed ogni richiesta viene soddisfatta nell'immediato. Nonostante il covid posso andarla a trovare quando voglio (su appuntamento) perchè è stata creata una saletta apposiita senza contato tra visitatori ed ospiti. La decisione di portare un familiare in queste strutture non è facile sia dal punto di vista umano che economico, ma la cura e le attenzioni che le vengono dedicate non hanno confronto rispetto a quelle che si può fare in autonomia. Mia mamma è migliorata da quando è qui sia come umore che come aspetto (io vado una volta alla settimana a trovarla ed è sempre tutta pulita ed in ordine, io controllo tutto!). I have my mother hospitalized for a few months at this facility, despite the indescribable regret in leaving a family member I am happy because here they take care of her in a professional and affectionate way. The relationship with the staff (at all levels) is excellent and every request is met immediately. Despite the covid, I can go and see her whenever I want (by appointment) because a special room has been created without counting between visitors and guests. The decision to bring a family member to these facilities is not easy both from a human and an economic point of view, but the care and attention that is dedicated to them have no comparison with those that can be done independently. My mom has improved since she has been here both in mood and appearance (I go once a week to see her and she is always clean and tidy, I check everything!).
